How I changed from Monday blues to actually Liking it?

Like many people I used to hate Mondays, dreading it.. so much negativity that actually ruined my Sundays!
As we say nothing changes nothing changes, so I decided to make changes hoping things will be better, AND IT DID!

Some steps I took:

  • Identify what is my controllable, and not letting things that I cannot control bothering me (eg. people sending unnecessary emails during the weekends, short noticed meeting that might ruin my week..etc)

  • Stick to my boundaries unapologetically (condition: I still delivery on strategy with excellence)

  • Blocking some time to catch up and plan things for the week/month (that is within my control)

  • Schedule meetings where I gain energy – one to one catch up , coaching sessions are my favorites.
